For many years the name Sandy Lane Hotel has been synonymous with five star quality worldwide. Indeed since its opening in 1961 its guest lists have included many famous people and repeat guests who came to relax in the elegant comfort provided by Sandy Lane. In 1998 Sandy Lane was closed for major renovations and took on a new look providing modern facilities whilst maintaining the character and old world charm for which it had become known. There was a "soft" re-opening in December 2001, however, it was not officially re-opened until March 2002.
Their three restaurants - L'Acajou with its French cuisine, Bajan Blue for casual dining or a snack at the Spa Café - all offer premium dining experiences. Golfing has always been a part of Sandy Lane and most golfers are familiar with the Old Nine Course. However, Sandy Lane now boasts of three golf courses including the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course and the newly opened Green Monkey Course. rooms at Sandy Lane are more spacious offering modern state-of-the-art amenities

the first moment you arrive, you realize that Sandy Lane is no ordinary hotel.
As your chauffeured limousine sweeps smoothly into the driveway, you glimpse
between the lines of aged mahogany trees, a classical-style building of cream
coralstone shimmering in the sunlight. The greeting inside is genuine and
generous: freshly chilled facecloths and iced glasses of tropical fruit punch to
cool you down. The smiling welcome is warm though, warm as the Bajan sunset.
