Set on a secluded pristine
Caribbean beach, the Playacar Palace Resort is one of
the most comfortable and lovely hotels on one of the most unspoiled,
unclouded beaches on the Yucatan Peninsula. The hotel is a 50
minute drive from Cancun's International Airport, but worth
every minute.
It is set on the outskirts of
Playa del Carmen and is within walking distance to area
shopping, dining, and beach bars. Also, the resort is situated
in front of the ferry boat dock to Cozumel for daily
excursions.
The hotel was built around the
fascinating ruins which can be found throughout the resort.
If this doesn't satisfy your urge for history, take a trip
to nearby Tulum where Mayan ruins are perched on cliffs
overlooking crystal clear waters and white sand beaches.
For golf enthusiasts, there is an
18 hole championship course across from the hotel designed
by Robert Von Hagge. The ourse is built around Mayan ruins
visible throughout the course which adds to the beautiful
scenery along the fairway.
