acres facing Pink Gin Beach. The complex is reminiscent of a 19th-century West
Indian colonial village, with the gracious main building resembling a governor's
residence. Its grand reception hall leads to a breezy courtyard, around which
are the spa-treatment rooms, a restaurant with a colonnaded dining terrace, a
piano bar, and a two-level swimming pool. You can experiment with the chef's
light spa cuisine or choose richer menu selections. In addition to the usual
resort sports, yoga and fencing are offered. Rates include everything,--even spa
treatments (aromatherapy, wraps, rubs, massages, and facials)--and tipping isn't
allowed.

quarters are in four-story buildings, all facing the beach. Bedrooms have
Persian rugs on Italian marble floors, Jamaican mahogany furniture and woodwork,
four-poster king-size beds, high ceilings, balconies overlooking the sea and
marble bathrooms. Junior suites have a comfortable sitting area with a bay
window. Rooms feature ceiling fans, balcony or terrace, radio, telephone, hair
dryer, bath robes and mini fridge.
